The company is called Space Perspective and it’s a spinoff from Biosphere 2 which was a closed ecological system experiment in Arizona. The company’s co-founder Jane Poynter said the waiting list for the voyage is already “light-years long”. The flight will be a six-hour journey that will allow passengers to see the curvature of the Earth, the total blackness of space and the thin blue line of our atmosphere.

It can accommodate nine people including the pilot but there are plans to make the capsule more spacious for weddings. The company is able to offer a wide range of amenities, such as drinks and comfortable seats to enjoy the view. It also has a lounge where the passengers can have conversations with their guests back on earth via FaceTime or livestreams.

There is a lot to consider before planning a space wedding. The venue needs to be large enough for everyone and the space has to be properly outfitted with the right furniture, lighting, audio/visual equipment and other necessities.
